Guidelines
Box Leather Box leather is
ideal for workplace environments with wet, acidic or greasy conditions. It
has a smooth, clean finish that can easily be maintained. Care Instructions: Use a
damp soapy cloth or sponge to remove surface dirt. Do not saturate the
leather. Ordinary scuff marks may be touched up with shoe polish.
Cabrio Leather Cabrio leather
features a black top coat that provides a high-gloss shine and dressy
appeal. Care Instructions: To
remove surface dirt, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Full-Grain Leather Full-grain leather
is a smooth and water-resistant leather that does not break down in
environments with wet, acidic or greasy conditions. Care Instructions: To
clean, wipe with a damp cloth. To maintain, use Dansko Leather Cream.
Nubuck Leather Nubuck, the softest
of our leathers, has a lush and silky feel. This leather is known for
rich, bright colors and is perfect for leisure shoes and sandals. Care Instructions: Wipe
with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Use Dansko Nubuck and Suede
Bar and Brush to remove surface stains. For maximum water and stain
protection, we recommend using Dansko Suede and Nubuck Spray
immediately after purchase.
Oiled Leather Oiled leather has a
heavily oiled finish that creates a durable and moisture-resistant
surface. It is often referred to as a rugged leather, ready to take on
many outdoor environments. Care Instructions: Rub
light scuffs with finger tips. Remove stubborn dirt with damp cloth. To
maintain, use Dansko Oiled Leather Restorer. To increase water
resistance, use Dansko Beeswax Conditioner.
Patent Leather Patent leather is a
dress leather with a polycoat finish. This finish gives the leather its
high shine. Patent Leather is not recommended for occupational use in the
medical or culinary industry. Care Instructions:
Gently wipe surface dirt off the leather with a clean damp cloth.
Pull-Up Leather Pull-up is the
perfect choice for working environments. Scuffs and scratches can be
'pulled' out by redistributing oil or wax with your fingertips, making
this a work-friendly leather. Care Instructions: Remove
scratches and scrapes by rubbing the underside of the leather with finger
tips using light pressure until blemish is no longer visible. Buff with
Dansko Leather Cream.
Suede Leather Suede is a leather
that features a soft, delicate nap and is perfect for dress-up occasions. Care Instructions: Use
Dansko Nubuck and Suede Bar and Brush to remove surface stains.
For maximum water and stain protection, we recommend using Dansko Suede
and Nubuck Spray immediately after purchase.
Waxy Leather Analine leather
with heavy wax top that enhances the soft buttery feel of the leather.. Care Instructions: Rub
light scuffs with finger tips. To maintain, buff lightly with the
Anytime Shoe Shine Sponge.
